Why Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a comprehensive approach to healing.

In Ayurveda we use methods to uncover the root of your ailments in order to create sustainable health. We work with the physical body, mental body, and spiritual body thus, revolutionizing your ability to heal. We also use both the Feminine and Masculine form of medicine (think the meditation vs. the cleanse or manifestation vs. the action). Ayurveda works because it is customized to who you are as an individual. It is a great awakening of thy self, and the most powerful way to obtain full body health, or Svastha.

Ayurveda + Mental Focus / Cognitive Health

The average attention span of a goldfish is 9 seconds, the average attention for a person in 2024 is 8 seconds. That means at this point humans are one second behind a goldfish when it comes to our ability to focus. With the development of short-form content that we constantly consume it is integral to implement practices such as mindfulness activities, meditation, and integrating nootropics in order to preserve our cognitive health. That way when our friend goes to tell us a long story we are able to actively drop in and listen!

Ayurveda + Hormone Balance

Ayurveda is feminine form medicine. A priority of Ayurveda is understanding the functions and patterns of women and nature. We help women understand the endocrine system and how it functions because we believe in empowering each other though education and self connection. We use things like seed cycling, yoni steaming and herbal supplements in order to balance hormones though every phase.

Ayurveda + Gut Health

In Ayurveda, a balanced digestive system, referred to as "agni," is integral to optimal health. The gut is considered the cornerstone of well-being, where proper digestion and nutrient assimilation take place. Ayurvedic practitioners, recognizing individual uniqueness through "prakriti" and doshic imbalances, tailor personalized approaches to enhance gut health. Working with an Ayurvedic practitioner is essential, as they offer targeted solutions, encompassing dietary recommendations, herbal remedies, and lifestyle adjustments. To bring forth balanced digestion, heightened energy and overall vitality.

Ayurveda + Building a Resilient Nervous System

When you have a balanced nervous system you are able to heal, learn, create and be playful. We live in a world where it's common to feel frequent stress and anxiety. This impacts our long term health and causes other systems in our body to suffer. Working with an Ayurvedic Practitioner will help you implement somatic ways to work through an activated nervous system and help to create supportive environments throughout your life.

Ayurveda + Stagnation / Blockages / Resistance in life

If you are experiencing resistance, blockages or stagnation in areas of your life you may be in need of a healthy and aligned routine. In Ayurveda Dinacharya is known as your daily rituals, it is also known as your life proclamation. What you do every day indicates what you want your life to be about. Working with an Ayurvedic Practitioner will help you identify the ways you life is aligned with your purpose, and the ways you are creating miss alignment. We then create a daily plan based on your individual dosha, your location and the Doshic times of day.
